Xbox and Hot Pockets co-sponsored a 3-day outdoor booth space at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles to promote Hot pockets new Snack Bites products. With more than 52,000 gaming enthusiasts in attendance, E3 was the ideal venue for Hot Pockets to park their Snack Bites filled food truck.
As a way to build even more engagement surrounding the new Hot Pockets Snack Bites we brought in Youtube personality, Sky Williams whose infectious personality and comedic charm attracted attendees and allowed us to capture entertaining footage for content usage.
As a way to leverage brand interaction, we added a ‘Tweet to Win’ social push, that encouraged consumers to take a photo in front of the food truck, or at the Hot Pockets Photos Op. They were required to follow Hot Pockets on Twitter, tweet their photo and utilize the hashtags #HotPocketsFreeAtE3 and #Sweepstakes for entry. Hot Pockets efforts to bite hunger back made a splash at E3 and shifted the way that guests viewed the Hot Pockets brand.
