Create a soccer hub for Nike NYC during the World Cup time period.
The Hall of Phenomenal, located in SoHo, was a huge activation that included programming such as youth clinics, pick up futsal games, foosball tournaments, influencer events, customization area, interactive photo experiences and World Cup viewing parties.
Consumers also got their chance to trial the Magista and Mercurial footwear in an interactive photo experience that allowed guests to create a digital flip book of themselves scoring a goal using over 200 cameras. In addition they could test their skills in the Hexagon where their response time and accuracy were tested by kicking a ball at one of several screens with a moving graphic.
Close to 400 teams participated in organized futsal league play during the week of activation bringing a lot of energy and localization to the space.
Over the course of seven days we saw a total of 14,000 unique visitors to the space, 40% more than projected. Of those visitors we had a total of 386 teams, 2,316 players, participate in 538 matches across 21 scheduled sessions. In addition over 3,900 consumers trialed the Nike footwear. The event was considered a massive success by all accounts.
