The Challenge: Create awareness and provide engaging hands-on demos of features on Windows 10 devices. Collect measurable ROI to show the success of the demo activation.
The Execution: We featured a 60’x40’ footprint in the Daytona Fan Zone where fans were able to get hands-on with Windows 10. Each fan participated in a Windows 10 demo challenge at one of (3) total stations. In this challenge, fans partnered with product specialists and became familiar with features like Cortana, Windows Ink, Paint 3D and more. Fans completed the challenge by using these features to answer a series of trivia questions. Upon completion, each fan earned a Plinko coin to use at the 8’x10’ Windows 10 Plinko Wall. For a second chance at the Plinko wall, consumers engaged with a photo backdrop where they posted photos on Twitter using #Windows10 and #Daytona500. Once at the wall, fans had a chance to win a variety of Team Hendrick shirts and hats.
The Results: The event had over 250,000+ event attendees, with an average demo time of 5 minutes per person, we were able to reach over 2,500 consumers. From the time consumers entered the space, they spent an average of 10 minutes dwell time in the activation space throughout the 4-day event.
